As far as McDonald's goes, they are fine. The employees are generally polite and the orders are usually completed properly. The facility was recently remodeled, in fact they were one of the only restaurants open in the area after super storm Sandy. It was one of the few places you could get a hot meal.

This McDonald's is really close to my location and it has really good service. Clean floors, beautiful decor, hardworking employees and my daughter Emily when she was 8, she literally sat on the table to take pictures of the decor every time we went with her iPod touch or her 3ds because it was so beautiful and amazing! The latest renovation which was in 2012 is really nice and when I, my wife and 2 daughters saw that the Mcdonalds was new and all good to go, we were SO AMAZED of the new background and the decor that now we go there every weekend (probably until we start exercising). Why this restaurant gets 5 reviews 1: Clean floors and loving employees 2: Welcoming and greeting 3: Quick service and awesome clean tables 4: There's wifi and it connects to every network there is 5: Beautiful decor and scenery I have 1 tip for you. Go there

Talk about ch-ch-ch-changes!!! :D Recently around good ol' Pview, places have been shutdown and others have been renovated (have you seen the BK near that lonesome Taco Bell? Finally up-to-date but not in a good way? I'll save that for another review...) I had to pop on over at Mickey D's to get my car inspected across the street. Yayy..not really. I heard about the new reno's so I took my laptop as well. They had to have free wifi. As I got to their parking lot, I saw TWO drive thrus. That was interesting! When I walked in, I was like "WTF!?" They took away the singing lion with those dark shades who sings those jazz songs at the piano! They replaced him with new tile flooring, small granite tables and sleek black leather seats. Ohyeahhhhh~ I literally stood there with my jaw on the floor. The decor consisted of dark brown woods and subtle red tiling. To be honest, the color palette reminded me of Red Mango. Press this link right here to check out the spankin' new McD's! bit.ly/13ORKHO It was around 10-ish so I ordered a Filet-o-Fish, crispy hashbrown, and their new McWrap with grilled chicken. I also got their one dollar Sweet Tea and you know that the styrofoam cup's huge but the thing was that...they didn't fill it. You fill it yourself at the new beverage aisle. Awesome. Heheh Coca Cola come to Mama! Whoops. I mean, er, sweet tea? Oh come on! Please tell me I'm not the only one that had that mischievous thought! I recommend the McWrap which came with tender chicken, mesclun lettuce, huge cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing. This wrap is massive compared to the snackwrap. After you order, they tell you to hold onto your receipt because they have a flat screen tv which displays the number written on the paper. As usual, quick and amiable service and at its core, the same McDonald's flavors that I'm familiar with.

Its McDonald food so there isn't much to say about it. But the counter service is ridiculous. Manned by P.O.B. highschool students who can't get an order straight coupled with the "kitchen" staff who can't read the screen and then blame the counter people.

This location has been redone lately with nice tables and free wifi.

This week my wife and I welcomed our newborn son into the world. We had our first pediatrician's appointment this morning and having not gotten much sleep in the past few days, we thought it would be nice to pick up McDonalds breakfast. I placed the order and it was correct on the screen and paid-for receipt. Upon arriving home we noticed the incompetent staff neglected to properly fulfill the order. To my disappointment, the hash browns were missing from both meals. Listen, we didn't really want McDonalds for their powered eggs or microwaved pancakes, we wanted it for their freshly fried hash browns. The look on my wife's face when she found out they were missing was sorrowing. This particular McDolands location is a stunning example of why McDonalds is failing -- their employees & lackluster customer service. To the McDonalds works complaining about their low pay, you're lucky to receive that. In the real world, compensation increases are given on a performance basis, not whining basis.

This McDonalds renovated there interior to a very sheik look. For adults it provides more mature look which includes lots of gray and red colors. For kids it appears cold and unfriendly. I always felt McDonalds should cater towards children. I am not sure why they went this direction. I really like the fact they included the soda fountain outside the register area =bonus for refills. The place always looks clean and well kept. The food is always fresh and delivered quickly. I prefer the new chicken wraps. They are very good with the lettuce and tomato in it. I like the sweet chili sauce and hold off on the garlic sauce. I also enjoy the big macs and small burgers. Their fries are always hot, crispy and yummy. I prefer a little less salt than is usually put on. My daughter loves the snack wrap. This store has two drive thru's which helps keep the cars moving. I find that if i place a special order with the drive thru they mess it up 50% of the time. Just check your order before you drive away.

Its a McDonalds., blah, not much to say. The drive thru is quick and the coffee is good. Other than that its your typical McDonalds.

Such a cute, cool & funky Micky D's. Been there a few times and they always got my order right, the staff is also pretty nice, which is weird bcos I don't usually fraternize with McDonalds staff except here. Cool decor, lots of seating, fast & nice service, plenty of parking. PS..I think I know why I like this place, it's like a McDonalds club...yes that's it, the music is always vibing, the strobe lights and the bar like feel...yeah that's it... Check it out!!

ok i'm doing it... writing a review on a fast food joint. And all because of the McRibs that are back for a few weeks. So good so good..... I've been trying to work out, and all the working out I did on Tuesday was messed up by the McRibs on Wednesday. Which lead me to today, where i ate pizza and donuts for lunch.... I'll tell ya, McDonalds leads to poor habits, but that's really me blaming a fast food place instead of blaming my poor self-control, which is something that i'll share with a therapist if it ever comes down to me needing one..... which might be soon since i think there's a fatboy living inside of me. But I digress. LOVE this McDonald's. Been coming here on and off since i was a kid. Mary was always there giving me and my sister ice cream when we were kids. My dad even got his own serving of kid's free ice cream from her! she was awesome. She made us want to come back again and again. (again blaming poor mary for our poor self control) Fast forward a few years, and suddenly they have a robotic Moon Head guy playing the piano and moving his head (which would occasionally be replaced? by a lion head guy), reminding me of Ray Charles. Cool and definitely different. Fast forward many years later. I came back one morning with my bf, and mary was there again. She probably forgot who i was, but i didn't forget her. She was so personable, chitchatting with us and even giving us marriage advice ahah. This McDonalds is great. Managers will take my coupons and sometimes even give me my coupons back just so i could use them again if i wanted to. And they'll even give me coupons for delaying my order a few minutes. And they even change my white bread to honey wheat, like they did last night with the McRibs. And going back to the McRibs, they were so delicious i couldn't just have one. They were so delicious i didn't want to brush my teeth that night just so i could go to sleep with that taste in my mouth. nasty. Did i do that or not? I'll never tell. well maybe I will.

This is a very conveniently located McDonald's for anyone who works at NSLIJ Plainview hospital. It is right across the way over the route 135 overpass eastbound from the hospital. Let me say that I had a very nice young man fill my order who was professional. He seemed rather young, but he still took my order quickly and informed me calmly whether or not I can do certain substitutions: Some McDonald's would exchange the fries for Parfait and this one did not. Coffee was a change for soda. When it comes to McDonald's, the food is quality controlled to be about the same wherever you go. Service and environment is the only difference between one and another. Truthfully, this McDonald's would only get a 3.5 but since the last review made very little sense and gave them only 2 stars, I felt like giving them the extra 0.5 to even things out. Place is clean. People are professional and they even offer a free little cup of ice cream for children who are accompanied by an adult. That is really nice. Imagine when you have to visit the hospital for any reason as a child. It is always nice to get a little ice cream because the hospital visit is so unpleasant no matter what. ALSO: I came here because Jane H. gave a Stony Brook McDonald's a bad review. They actually wanted her to go back to the same McDonald's to give it a second chance so they gave her a free meal card. Luckily, I got to use it at another Long Island branch and they didn't give me much trouble about it. I truely believe some branches just try harder than others.
